Bay rum cologne? I was looking around their website the other day and there were many rave reviews about how the scent goes on strong then dissipates to a mellow aroma lasting most of the day? I'm hoping one of my kiddos will remember this when it comes time to buy dear old Dad a B'day present this year. My own favorite is Jovan Musk (worn daily). My wifes favorite of mine is "Black" body spray. Royal Copenhagen is ok, but rather heavy as far as scent goes for my liking. Tuscany by Aramis is another one I like, but don't wear too often. And last but not least Jovan Sex Appeal. To spicy for my liking. I wouldn't mind wearing Old Spice. My Dad wore it all the time. Only draw back is my Wife's grandfather wore it too. I do NOT want to wear something that reminds her of her G'dad on a romantic evening. lol Dan
I've sampled this in the store and it's one that I've considered buying. It has really great top and heart notes. A good complex mix of citrus and spice. But the downside for me is the base notes don't react as well with my body chemistry as most other bay rums.
I used it for a long time and liked it a lot. You'll smell like a pirate... They only caveat is that a little goes a looooong way.
Hey Dad! That' a big rodger dodger on the Burts Bees! Oh now it won't be a surprise. I find it real hard not to be tempted to go absolute AD crazy. I really want to smell every fragrance I here ya'll talk about. This is addictive! I thought you and Bobby were crazy and it turns out I'm the crazy one!LMAO!
I actually have a list of "want to try" as far as shave related stuff, mostly the AS and colognes, even though some may not classify colognes as shave related. I do.
I want to give Burt's Bees Bay Rum a try too. Haha Tango, I told you. Now, you gotta try to restrain, that kinda makes it fun too. I saw an old Gillette black handle adjustable the other day in an antique shop and passed it by. 'Twas not in the best shape nor the right price. Still sucked not buying it though. AD is bittersweet. Also want to try Florida Water too, not Burt's Bees but still intriguing to me.
