Hey, I was thinking about trying Fine American Blend, but then noticed their shave soap has tallow. I can get occasional skin reactions from tallow, so I try to buy vegetal when possible and only use a tallow-containing soap on rare occasion when there is no other option in order to minimize the odds of a reaction. So, basically, I would like the "American Blend" scent but in a vegetal shave soap. Are there any good matches for the Fine American Blend scent out there? I could buy the aftershave, but need a soap to pair with it.

If you can't find anything, get an unscented soap you like, then just add a few drops of your cologne of choice to the lather bowl, or tips of a loaded brush if you face lather.
American Barber is Very similar. I actually think it's better. More of the Rive Gauche scent and less of the soapy scent.
