    I'm originally from southern Louisiana, and can vouch for the effectiveness of powder in hot, humid climates. I used to bathe in the stuff during the summer when I knew I'd be working outside and it's hugely effective. Gold Bond is kind of a staple product in this category, but I came to prefer baby powder with cornstarch. I never knew until now that there such things as "luxury" powders. . .
