    I am just in awe that so many people's face can handle daily shaving. I shave every two days, and even with that, sometimes it is too much. My calendar would be more spotty.

    I am blessed with tough skin I guess. I've shaved daily since I went through boot camp in 83 but never had a much fun doing it until now. ;) And to think I got into this thinking I would save money. Yea right! :D

    That helps a lot. I just picked up a bottle of Mrysol F Extra. It was my favorite out of the Floid and Mrysol samples.

    Amber was a weaker version of Vigoroso with less alcohol and menthol. The F Extra is also very similar to Vigoroso but a little less alcohol but with a little more menthol. I could only tell the difference between the 3 when I used them over several days.

    I have always wanted to try Alt-Innsbruck, but I believe I am sensitive to tobacco EO. Alt-Innsbruck is probably not for me.

    Great 2 pass XTG & ATG shave yesterday. Late post, forgot to post yesterday. Skipped today.

    brush: EJ best badger medium
    lather: proraso green soap
    razor: EJ89lbl

    post: alum block, thayer's witch hazel (various flavors)

    04/28/15 ... Dorco st-301 (1) ... 2 days growth ... it seems like the dorco wasn't quite as sharp as some blades but cut through everything and at the end of two passes, i was reasonably satisfied. while there were no nicks or weepers during the shave, after all the cleanup was done, i noticed some visible irritation on the lower neck. i didn't feel anything, then nor from the alum earlier ... just visible.

    04/30/15 ... Dorco st-301 (2) ... 2 days growth ... this shave the delayed-visible irritation turned visible quickly. i had multiple scrapes and/or weepers ... above the lip, chin, and neck. cold water rinse and alum took care of them all. the alum did a bit of stinging, too.

    wilkinson, 7am, voskhod, astraSP, treetdurasharp, crystal, supermax platinum, dorco st301 ... on desk for the May Blade Focus ... Sharp DuraBlade
