I cleaned it up and sterilized it, and it shaves very nice, it does have a nice heft to it and is on the medium side of aggression,that was with a Gillette silver blue, I will try different blades in it ,God knows I have plenty, that's what my wife gets a little pissed off about, that I am a blade freak.
You did very well! Those usually fetch up to $60 in that condition. I love mine as well. I love the audio feedback it gives too. Congrats on a great score!
If you picked it up with the case and blade bank, IMHO, you got a steal. I'll never part with mine and it's scheduled for replate. I wouldn't call it aggressive though. Great shaver. Great score. ... To be continued... Don
The Aristocrat is a cool looking razor. I hear great things about them, and it is on my list of razors to try, along with a Shick b3 repeating razor if I can find one.

Those aristocrats are beautiful razors. Yours looks to be a 1946 to 1948 based on the case. I might be off by a year. Either way, that's a great buy for a fantastic shaver. You did well.
Wow!!! I'm in ore of your collection, I've just ordered my first "real" razor an EJ de89 after playing with a cheap £5 eBay butterfly BUT looking at your collection on the left in pic, didn't realise just how addictive this could become;-))) Hat off to ya my friend
