Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if Asquith & Somerset Bath Soap is the same as Claus Porto Soap? They kinda look to be the same shape...it's alot cheaper too. Thanks

I have been buying these for $2.99 - $3.99 depending on the scent at my local TJ Maxx....Nice soaps, the scents are pretty strong and it's a nice moisturizing bar, they also have some nice bars with poppy seeds, oatmeal and almonds added which are a very nice exfoliators (Sp) The bar size and shape look the same as the Claus Porto bars that go for $12-$14 a bar, so at that $3-$4 a bar it's a good bargain..
As soon as I saw the pic, I said TJ Maxx. I've seen them, but haven't tried them, nor do I know anything about them. :ashamed001 Sorry.
Asquith & Somerset have made soaps with private brands over the years but I can't find where I saw the list. I enjoy their soaps as well as Penningtons of Bath moisturising soaps. Both triple-milled and provide a good quality/cost ratio. Both available at TJ Maxx or Ross.
Thanks JoAnna & Steve, They are pretty nice triple milled soaps, I just used their Rose bar :drool...Great scent and nice and moisturizing and the bars being triple milled and 12+oz to start with last a long time... My wife has a bit of a hard time holding on to them when there new though, but says she can still use them. I'm guessing that the Claus Porto is probably made by them, not sure but the Claus Porto bars look very similar..just different scents.
