Must be forecasted to be a degree or two cooler since you opted not to us the Cryogen splash. Tomorrow is another day. Great shave Joe.

Lol! Thanks Joe! Tomorrow begins my alternative week of straight razor shaves. I probably will use my Dovo Shavette and one of my lavender soaps.

No picture today. Had a comfortable shave with the Rolls.
Different blade from another Rolls set, 1st outing after honing.
    Saponifico Verisino Cosmo soap
    Shavemac D01 brush
Derby City Chop Shop Winter Reserve aftershave
    RL Safari for Men

Usually I'm a one and done kind of guy. When I use the Rolls, I normally do two. Today's shave ended after three passes, and I'm still rather scruffy.

I checked the blade on formica in a couple different spots, and saw what I expected to see, a slight frown in the blade. Not enough to make the shave dangerous, but enough to make it not shave hair at skin level across 2/3rds of the blade. Bah.

It's going on my hones tonight. Full progression.

I am sure you will fix that blade Ryan. However, nice setup.

    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
    Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
    Brush: Lider Turkish Boar.
    Face Lather.
    Lather: Derby Shaving Soap bowl.
Blade: Personna Gem PTFE SS. (D5)
    Razor: Ever Ready 1912. (ENG)

    Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Osmanli Lemon Eau De Cologne./ Aloe Vera Gel.

    A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

The Derby soap bowl provides a wonderful dense slick protective lather, which is equal to the shave stick if not better for it's lather density IMHO...The scent of both Derby & Arko soaps is something i personally don't mind to my sense of smell it's just a 'clean pleasant soap/lemon scent' which like the vast majority of shaving soaps with a few rules to the exception the scent vanishes after i have done my cold water face.

Another enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

Wonderful shave session Barry. I probably wouldn't mind the scent of Derby because I like Arko. Have a great afternoon.

Fine shave this morning with the Frozen Lemon Ice from Wet The Face. I ran over a speedbump IN THE SOAP...wondered if it was some form of clay(Bentonite, perhaps). Good work at the loading dock. 2 passes. Had to do a little extra around the sideburns. It was worth the effort. A Knick developed at NW Cactus, but as it was just a Knick it got smothered by the cold-water rinse and cold aftershave. Otherwise all went well. Mutamayez(House of Swiss Arabian)to follow the Clubman Gent's Gin A.S. for a Super Duper Excellent shave.

Well Paul, I did mention my August plan at the beginning of this month. It was post #13. In fact, you liked it. So I am assuming you forgot that you read it or you just automatically hit like on posts without reading them.

    DE Shave # 417 - Adjustable August - Weekends

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Ming Shi Futur Clone
    Blade: Shark Platinum (5)
Brush: Shore Shave Player 26 mm
    Lather: Proraso Green
    Aftershave: Proraso Menthol and Eucalyptus
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Humphreys Cucumber Melon Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

I am ready for another scorcher of a day. As a result I decided to give the Proraso Green a go for the first time. I have two other Proraso’s in the two dens, Aloe Vera/Vitamin E and White (Sensitive).

My first impression of the soap is what I expected of the perform of a Proraso soap. What I did not expect is the cooling feeling I had through the shave. The aftershave is nice but at least to me it does not have the same cooling effect as the soap.

I did my usual three pass shave. Additionally, the brush with lather was placed in a iced water brush scuttle which enhanced the cooling effect of the soap. The resulting shave with the Ming Shi Futur Clone was comfortable and smooth. The Shark blade was binned following the shave.

Up next is Micromatic Monday (MMBT). Woooo Whooo!

    Stay cool gentlemen.

Sounds like a very comfortable and chilling shave Paul. Would the Mutamayez be considered to warm for the current weather conditions. Very nice overall Paul.

Great shave Joe. Glad you liked the Proraso Green. The menthol is mild to me, but then again, I use Cryogen. Enjoy your day.

Love the ER 1912 SE razor Barry. I will have to bring my out during the month of September. Perhaps I will do an SEptember theme on alternating days. Fine shave my friend.
