If that is the after picture, I'd give him an F+. Tried very hard, but still flunked.

in all honesty i would say give it go.many hidden gems disappear into obscurity when they lack the flashy marketing and packaging.;)

There are some products, though, that you don't hear ads about. Why. The owners of said products know they're great to begin with...why do an ad? I've never seen any ads for Bill Neumann&Co., Clubman.....course the late Jack Palance had the classic Skin-Bracer ad.

Hmmmm...a tad over $6 on the bay. Haven't pulled the trigger, though it's tempting lol. Ya just never know.

Here's a YouTube shave video review of it. Several people in the comments tried it afterwards. All seemed to think it worked fine. No fancy fragrance or anything but the shave was slick enough ... much like Williams used to be, actually.

At $1.25 for a puck at the Dollar Tree, the price was certainly right.

Someone needs to teach him about shave angles. But, a good review.

I kinda agree with you on the "simple" persuasion of things, Gary. :)

Picked some up yesterday and used it this morning. Worked fine and got a nice shave using my Henson ++ razor. Is it top notch? Nope but it's not bad and it's also dirt cheap at Dollar Tree. I'll use it with no problem. If I couldn't find anything else, it would be just fine.

I picked some up, this afternoon, and gave it a try. It seems slick enough, but doesn't lather up well, just ok. The bad thing is, that it dries up fast, halfway through the shave. It definitely needs a lot of water, for the thin lather. It also has an ok smell. Slightly pleasant, not great. I give it a C-, only since it cost $1.25. MADE IN CHINA.

Tried it again this morning. Used it as a shave stick and got a much better lather. Liked this lather better than addressing the puck with a brush, just worked better.

I used it to face lather too.

Just gave it a shot. Did the shave stick method and got a decent lather. It was slick, kind of lacked in volume but got through a straight shave so, no complaints.
