I have seen discussions for lots of different pre shave applications, but so far I have never seen baby oil mentioned as a pre shave oil treatment. Baby oil obviously is very skin safe, it smells great, and it leaves your skin very soft. Does anyone use baby oil for a pre shave?
I use it to treat the dash board of my pick-up. does a good job, wash it with mild soapy water, then wrote it down with baby oil,keeps it nice. should work on my mug as well.
Olive oil from olives…. peanut oil from peanuts…… grape seed oil from grape seeds….. …..so how do they make baby oil?
I'm sure baby oil would work but it is mineral oil based and with all of the great natural based oils why use a petroleum product? Just my thinking. I even use castor oil for case lube for resizing rifle brass.
