Over a week ago, I got pretty sick. Even had to get tested for covid cause of high fever, chills and chest congestion, but no covid. Even after this whole time, this virus is kicking my butt, chest congestion I think is the worst part. I only shaved twice, but I couldn't post them, I was too tired. Now just waiting for all these meds to make me feel better. And I'm not sure if this is a coincidence, but my gallbladder has been acting up, and I do have gallstones, it's hereditary.
Don’t hesitate to see a doctor. On Nov 5 I thought I’d gotten the flu so I stayed in bed for a few days. The wife kept thinking it was more than the flu but I wasn’t convinced. (Especially since I’m rarely sick and never been hospitalized.) On Nov 12 she called 911 and I haven’t been home since. I get to go home on Feb 7 for a few weeks and then I need to have open heart surgery once I’m well enough.
The stomach flu kicked my butt last wek. I haven't been that sick in 30 years. Hope you feel better soon, Jim. Thoughts and prayers, John.
I hope you both get better soon.. I understand about the virus whatever it is because my Whole family is down with it right now. Docs have me taking a zpack (7 day blast meds) and the same cough meds they gave us for covid. My little girl has another doc appointment today after she just had one yesterday. She has an eye infection too !! Well I hope everyone who is down with whatever this is gets well soon... Also I hope the surgery goes well too....
Hope you are feeling better soon, one of our friends caught something and it took quite a while for her to recover. She mostly stayed in her house during the winter and would not socialize by doing the social gathering playing cards with friends (crib)that she enjoys the most in the winter months.
@jimjo1031 & @Queen of Blades I hope you are both feeling better soon. @John Beeman I wish you well with the surgery The stomach flu is kicking my tail right now. It started Wednesday when we were in Harrisburg PA. (Just what you need on a trip!). Put bluntly, I barfed my guts up. After the third episode, we called for an ambulance. Lots of test later, I still didn’t know what was wrong, but they were able to treat the symptoms better than we could on our own.
I am sorry to hear that, the stomach flu certainly is awful. I will pray for you to have a speedy recovery.
