An old Magazine Repeating Razor would be a fun toy. Can't see it as a legitimate tool to actually SHAVE with these days, though. There are too many inexpensive vintage Gillettes floating around and bazillions of DE blades still in production.

Aside from being very cool pieces of shaving history, I find them to be excellent shavers & very legitimate tools to actually SHAVE with. Plenty of injector blades still available for them either vintage or modern. You should give one a try. ;)

Because I'm easily persuaded, I started looking around for a Magazine Repeating Razor Type A and learned they're as scarce as hen's teeth -- and expensive, too! So much for THAT idea! I'll stick with my readily-available old Gillettes and inexpensive DE blades! Because I'm cheap... no, frugal! ;-)

Agreed. I waited over 2 years to find an A at a price I was willing to pay. Got 2 of them within a month of each other.

In the past, I always wanted a Schick repeating razor, but they always sold higher than I wanted. But at times, deals can be had. I got this lot for $15.50 shipped, Best Haul So Far........., and as @jmudrick mentioned, patience..............

I think I sold my A, B, and C Schick repeaters as a lot for $50. Might have been a little less or a little more. Also included a NOS magazine with blades in the little cardboard tube. All three razors had the original magazines.

That was a while ago. I probably should have kept them. I say that about everything I sell though.
