So, back in 2016 I managed to snap up one of the last 'cosmetically challenged' TR-1 razors from Hasan of BarbarosRazors.. and TBH, I was totally taken aback by how smooth yet efficient it was, and I'll admit it now that at the time I was slightly wary of it, only occasionally using it over the years.. but since acquiring a GC .76 and the 'GOAT', and trialling a few blades with said razors, I decided to bring the TR-1 back into my rotation, and include it in the blade trials along with the RR's. And, oh my days, I've finally come to appreciate just how smooth and efficient this razor really is. An absolute dream of a razor, and one that I totally under appreciated for so long.. But not any longer. Gotta love those 'light bulb' moments when they happen, eh?
