Was on an auction site the other day and was browsing shaving soaps. Before I knew it I had placed an order for B&M Seville. It arrived yesterday and it was love at first scent. This soap smells fantastic. I have been walking around with it smelling it all day. Tomorrow I may actually shave with it. Wife loves the scent. I see more B&M soaps in my future!

If you love Seville, you will also love Cologne Russe. B&M are my go to aftershave and soaps. Of course in winter time I go from my shaveden to my bearden so they get less use.

I'll add Cologne Russe to my short list. These are great soaps for less than $20 to my door.

I have Seville with the matching AS and Tuesday also with the matching AS. B&M are thirsty soaps and are a bit tricky to get lathered up. Lots of videos speak to that and lots of knowledge here to get you lathered up proper. Enjoy!

It is a little more thirsty than the rest of my soaps, but I got good lather first time out. My lathers should have soft peaks that fold over. When I see that I know that I have a "shaveable" lather. Each soap takes a different amount of water to accomplish this

Excellent I always warn my friends that they are thirsty soaps to avoid the disappointment of that “first” lather. Love B&M soaps.

I learned my lesson about "lather porn" some time ago. The big fluffy lather that looks good is (at least in my experience) underhydrated. I just keep adding water a little at a time until when I take the brush out of the bowl the peaks are soft and fold themselves over. Doing this has not failed me yet. From there I continue to "tweak" a soap until I have what I think is the best lather.

Seville is a very nice soap. Which base do you have? White tub? Orange Tub or Reserve (I think it's black)?

I'm not sure about the base. The tub is white with an orange label on the lid.

Love their Reserve base. The "Spice" and "Fern" scents are great.
