BBS Baby...Yeah

    I'm finally getting the hang of this so I decided to chase the baby a little this morning and tried going ATG. Wow is all I can say. My face is still smooth at lunchtime. Maybe the best shave ever.

    Used a Futur on 1.5 with a German Wilkinson Sword and Proraso cream. Tried witch hazel after for the first time. Does that smell remind anyone else of cheap tequila?

    I still just can't get over today's shave. Felt like a million bucks all day.

    And I just took another whiff of that witch hazel. Definitely cheap tequila (but not quite as strong a smell). I got this T.N. Dickenson's brand so maybe it smells a little different than the normal stuff?

    SOme brands of witch hazel have alcohol blended in. Does this brand?

    It's 14% so I don't think it has any extra alcohol.

    Congrats on your bbs shave. I had third my shave with a de and can officially say i've joined the bbs club as well. Im surprised i got the hang of it so quick!

    Cheap tequila is exactly what comes to mind when I use it. I still love it though. I like the burn too. It feels like...victory.

    The smell of cheap tequila and burnt wood are pretty similar IMHO. Can still remember drinking too much Two Fingers back in the day, and I swear it smelled and tasted like liquid charcoal! I've been pretty happy and comfortable finishing up with Nivea ASB for Sensitive Skin, haven't tried the witchhazel yet.

    Tried the BBS this morning and nearly got there, one of the best shaves I've ever had. The part that amazes me today is the NO irritation feeling!
