A week or so ago I purchases a relatively unknown (to me, at least) German brush made by Victoria. The label on the bottom has the Victoria logo and "Rein Dachs," or pure badger.

It was brand new, and did not appear to have ever been used. I contacted the company that took over Victoria, GEKA Accessories, and while they could not provide a definitive date of manufacture (or much other info for that matter) they estimated it dates back to the 1980's.

It's an absolutely beautiful brush, with great weight (5.3 oz), and its first bloom (following a generous lather with SV 70th Edition) was amazing! Such soft bristles too!

Does anyone else have this brush, or know anything about it (like it's name, date of manufacture, price/value originally and now, etc.)? I'd love to hear what you guys have to share!

    Thanks, and shave on!
