Only your face will be able to answer that.

Goto Try a Blade see link http://www.tryablade.com/blade and try them all until you find the perfect that suit you're face and your skin.

    Good luck.

For me, it depends on the razor. Feather is probably the best I've tried, but I can't use it regularly in my most aggressive razors. Same with Polsilvers. Astra SP and Permasharp Super are my go-to blades for my most aggressive razors.

Preferences seem to vary more with blades than with any other tool in your average shaving arsenal. Two guys might both claim to have sensitive skin and a thick beard, but they still might have completely different preferences. I have very coarse hair and I can't stand Sharks although other guys with coarse hair swear by them.

For me, the sharpest blades tend to be the most suitable although the smoothest blades can compensate for what they lack in sharpness by being very comfortable. If going the sharp route, I would opt for Feathers, yellow 7 O'Clocks, or Nacets and in terms of smoothness, Voskhods, German Wilkinsons, and Ladas blades tend to be the best. If I were you, I'd just get a big sample pack and start experimenting. It's fun to try new blades and find what works best for you.

I consider my beard to be more coarse than average. For me Yellow 7 o'clock, Astra, GSB, PolSilver, Personna all tug.

For me these blades work: Rapira PL, Feather, KAI. Of those KAI feels most smooth.

Of course this is YMMV, so only you will be able to figure out what really works for you, but I recommend you to add those blades to your blade sample collection.

+1, but fwiw, smooth sharp Gillette Silver Blue's work best on this guy's heavy beard and sensitive skin - Astra Platinum's are the only other ones I've found to come close to as good for me.

I started out with Derby's and Shark's because they were mild enough for my skin, but the shave wasn't that great for a heavier beard, I found.

As always your mileage may vary ;)

I'd also add, that as a sensitive skin guy I avoid multiple passes. A good aggressive 1 pass shave, with a bit of buffing on a few usual problem spots works best for me.

This is solid advice! Often we with sensitive skin get caught up in the moment of a good shave and over-shave.

Me and my face like the Personna Lab Blues and Gillette Silver Blues, however on the Air Force base where I work I walked into the exchange only to find the gift shop sells Parker Razors, brushes and other Parker shave related stuff. While browsing the nice selection of every Parker razor and brush I noticed he sells 3 brands of blades, Shark, Astra and Feather. Since I am only using a SR on the weekends I figured why not and picked up a tuck of 10 Feathers for $6

Agreed. I think the razor picks the blade as much as your face does.
