best brush for cream

    what is the best foer cream=plisson 10 HMW, shavemac 177 silvertip,or kent bk4?

    Seriously, though, they're all 3 great brushes, though I can only speak to the Plisson by reputation. I'm not sure you can accurately compare them. The Shavemac and Kent especially, offer a different feel: the Shavemac is more dense than the BK4, but you'll get excellent lather from either. Furthermore, the price difference among them is large. You can get a BK4 from Auravita for $60 shipped to the US (Europe would trade VAT against lower shipping). The Shavemacs can be had for somewhere around $70-90 USD if you can find them on sale (West Coast Shaving and Vintage Blades in the US--again, you can trade lower shipping vs VAT in Europe), or you can get custom handles straight from Bernd at Shavemac. And Plissons? Well, they're a tad more expensive. (Thus, I don't have one. :happy102:()

    I can only speak about the Kent BK4 and its a great brush for creams.And its kind of cheap in auravita.com.
     
  5. I have a couple of Shavemac silvertips. I really enjoy them with both creams and soaps.
