1. So as to make it like a puck...

I've tried it once before with one of my many Arko Sticks and the result wasn't ideal...
  2. I usually grate them and press the shavings into the bowl. There is an explanation with pictures here under "soap grater".
  3. I had good success with my Arko. The key is to keep it in a sealed container. They tend to dry up and "curl up" around the edges. I grated some Williams and it wasnt pleasant but still worked fine. MWF really needs to be sealed-I keep mine in an old D.R. Harris cream tub. Keeps it from cracking. I honestly would just try to find a container that it fit in. Grating does seem to help lathering though.
  4. I found a rubber mallet worked well. Arko is so soft that milling it would only gum up your shredder. Smoosh it.
  5. Wh....why? It's already a puck. Or did you make a stick?
  6. I chopped up an erasmic stick (which had broken) and mixed it with finely choped MWF. I used a knife as it was easier and less messy. I pressed the results into a souffle dish but recently pressed it into a mug. The combination is great. Sometimes little chunks came away from the main puck when it was in the souffle dish. The puck has a smaller surface area in my mug and this seems better.
However I'm not mixing my erasmic after this puck runs out.
  7.   Why, why, why anyone would want to ruin the perfect form of lathering is beyond me! Shavesticks are simply the best and easiest way to build a lather, and gives the stubble extra softening time. Just rinse out the brush when you're done, no extra bowls to clean up.

    It's murder I tell you....murder
  8. the truth have been spoken...:D:D:D
  9. Yes, ok, ok. I won't do it again.:ashamed001
  10. Circular soap in a bowl's the best.

Stick is handy - but I want one Arko converted, as stick is annoying when it comes to body shaving.
  11. Kaveh,I have used shaving sticks to shave my chest and legs and theyre pretty handy too.Well,I bet this is a question of preferences,I find soaps in a bolws really annoying now while shavesticks are pretty handy, wet it,rub it and built lather, but I bet for you is the other way around.
  12. :happy102 :happy102 That wasn't directed at you personally, nor BE for that matter... I'm just a stick nut...in fact I have a soap or two I'd like to turn into sticks :D nice touch on the soap box smilie ;)
  13. The puck did not fit any mug or bowl I had so I grated it so it would fit in the glass container I had. I hate lathering on a loose puck.
  14. Ahhh, Teiste, a modern man...

Sticks are fine for chest and face - get annoying below the belt.
  15. Something about that just sounds wrong:happy102
  16. A certain gillette video on FB comes to mind!
  17. Walks away laughing
  18. whoda thunk it was true...well, me...but who else?
  19. that video is hilarious.."the tree looks taller....":happy102:happy102
