Better than Speick?

I hope I havent spoiled myself by using Speick as my first aftershave. I've only also tried the Aubry Organics lineup and they dont seem to have as much of the good stuff in them plus I really prefer the Speick scent and the way my skin feels after using it.

I should mention that I am sortve adverse to arificial chemicals. I'm really hoping for some advise on aftershaves with similar ingredients to Speick but with a different scent perhaps? Is there anything else natural out there with the skin care qualities of Speick?

Welcome to TSD! This is the best wet shave board on the planet!

I have Speick and I like it very much. I am probably missing something obvious on your question about the skin care properties of Speick. The TSD After Shave Milks are very nice, but I don't know how or if they compare to Speick...I use both.

I have both the Speck Aftershave splash and balm. I think they are great and have gotten lots of complements from the lady friends on the smell.:)

There is nothing like Speick; it's one of a kind...on purpose. The plant used in its primary ingredient only grows beyond a certain elevation in the Austrian and Swiss Alps. The Austrian govt. has granted an exclusive patent to one company who produces the line. No one else is allowed.

Having said that there are numerous AS's that work as good as Speick, but if you're looking to copy the scent I don't think you will find a substitute. If you like that outdoorsy, forest-like scent a few others you might try are L'Occitane Cade (which has recently been discontinued unfortunately but you still may find some around), the Vetiver scent if you place a special AS order and Aubrey North Woods to name a few.

Shep covered the unique aspects of Speick. You won't find anything to match it exactly.

However, you can get some other good, natural aftershaves. TSD afershave splashes and milks are quite good. You might also consider St. Charles Shave or Provence Sante.

I'll look around and see if I can find a bottle of the Cade. The ingredients list for Harris aftershave seems similar. I didnt know that about the Speick plant though, very interesting. I may like to visit Germany someday.

I recently stepped up my shaves to a Dirty Bird brush scuttle/hot pot and Iced Sub Zero Wheat shaving cream and feel a bit overwhelmed, I think I just need something else good to compare the experience to.
