https://getbevel.com the razor looks super sharp the creator is an african American man I just saw this on msnbc he was being interviewed. Says its specifically designed for course curly hair and sensitive skin
Black people have been using DE razors (and single blade razors) longer than anyone else. The multi blade razors just weren't designed to be ethnically friendly. That is a better than average looking three piece razor, though anyone who doesn't provide for some sort of grip of the handle needs to go back to design school. Edit: the handle at least, is brass.
Here is an article on Tristan Walker and Bevel. http://allthingsd.com/20131218/tris...uilding-a-proctor-gamble-for-people-of-color/
Looks to be a very mild razor and as long as your hands don't have lather on them slippage isn't an issue with any DE razor.
and yet I've read accounts of people using pen grips and texture tape to make grips for their Futars, Visions, and EJ's. Just because it's not a problem for you, doesn't mean it won't be a problem for someone else.
Thats true. Nonetheless id love to try out the razor, they need to sell it separate from the system. I dont think walker understands the growing amount of wet shavers as a whole. I hate ethnic specific marketing. Looking at the Ingredients list on his as it isnt any different from traditional as. The cream is mainly glycerine and shea butter
After very receptive feedback from tristan walker I think im gonna order his stuff and give it a go. It seems like this guy really cares about his product
