This is a 1960's Aristocrat (aka gold Slim), NOT an Executive!!!
Well it IS gold. :happy097
Okay, so it's not a completely dishonest listing.
Ah that seller is a freakin crook. did you see the two 40s SS he just listed where he added an adjuster from a super adjustable and one from a slim to the bottoms? He called one "shave my space" and the other "bragger and blade". They don't even fit on good.
I just saw those. At least he does have a sense of humor, funny.
What is the difference in the razor.
One is basically a gold plated Fat Boy, the Executive, the other is a gold plated Slim, the Aristocrat.
Here's an Executive on the left and a Fat Boy on the right. The gold razor on the left is what should be with the case in the link. I think the only difference between a Slim and adjustable Aristocrat is the gold plating.
I wonder if someone told him about that.
He already knows. You can easily tell by the wording in his description.
That is WILD! I have one of each sitting next to each other and never noticed that they have different knurling!
Well, for what's it worth, I sent him a message anyway.
I wonder how he would like to get 50 messages and reported to ebay that many times.
I only realized it by looking at the pictures, not the razors also. Strange.
I like your way of thinking.
And I too just saw the "Shave My Space" razor, but I will only buy it if he throws in one of those cool leather razor holsters. :happy102
That is interesting, because the gold and silver Slims have the exact same knurling.
Well, I filed a report
I did too...
"I made this for those extremist razor collectors who seek perfection in an imperfect world."
