No more calendar showing birthdays, etc. ? No biggie, just want to make sure I'm not overlooking it....
haha ya. I also do like the birthday posts. I have to say I like wishing someone a happy birthday because I know it made that persons day a tiny bit better .
I don't know if it's just my browser, cookies, etc. or what but sometimes when I come to the site, I see the new Birthdays box and sometimes I don't - in both locations.
Let me know if this continues, i'm guessing it could be related to the caching we use. If i'm right, it will right itself for you shortly (24 hours or so).
It's still doing it. Think maybe once it shows the birthday box, it puts in the cookie that it's been displayed and then doesn't show it again until the cookie has expired... kind of like marking a thread read? I don't know.
Today is the first time I've seen the Birthday box. Today is Dragonboy's b-day. Does the box only show when there is a birthday?
I actually don't see the birthday box at all..........on either page. I just thought of something. I will try to log out then log back on and see if that helps.
It shouldn't be doing that. I'll do some poking and see if I can find something. It should always display, unless there is no birthday on the current date. If there's no birthday to display, it goes invisible, which I admit is less than spectacular for something that isn't quite "tried and true"
