    Hi alls.

    I need help to find cleaning and restoration's (no sanitizing) links & resources on TSD because I´m waiting for a Black Tip Gillette Super Speed that I've purchased on Ebay.

    I'm very interested in how to remove the rust and lime scales. I'm not lazy but in TSD are a lot of resources and my english isn't so good.

    Looking for someone told me about Scrubbing Bubless and MAAS, but I'm from Spain and I don't know if is possible to find its in my country. Could somebody tell me the maine ingredient of this cleaner or his use? The same question for MAAS polish (I supose it's a metalpolish) It's Ok for every kind of metal or I have to look for a metalpolish for an specific metal?

    I heard that Coca-Cola removes the rust. It's truth?

    How about hydrogen peroxide (agua oxigenada in spanish) or an amonnia's solution?

    What kind of treatment is the best for the black piece of the razor?

    Otherwise, have somebody any oppinion about the Guillette Black Tipe SS' shave?.

    Thanks everybody. ::mat

    Scrubbing Bubbles is an aerosol bathroom cleaner and limescale remover - the closest analogue for that in Europe would be Cif Bathroom Mousse.

    For polish, you want a polish that is safe on EPNS (electroplated nickel silver) - in the UK that would be Silvo or Goddard's Silver Dip - what it is in Spain I have no idea. A general metal polish (like for brass - like Brasso - will be too aggressive and would strip the plating after a few polishes). Even toothpaste (not gel) would work to an extent and leave your razor minty fresh :happy102 - use an old toothbrush to work it in...

    Peroxide will increase the rust - it's a great oxidising agent (so would up the corrosion, not remove it).

    The black piece is plastic - a toothbrush would probably do it.
