Could I use litmus paper or something, or do I have to eat it?
Soap should be in the 7-10 pH range. Above 10 pH, the soap is considered 'harsh' and has free lye particles. Lye has a pH of 14.
The tongue test is just a basic test. I would rather see a pH test result.
I didn't notice any burning.
But then again, I didn't notice any lather either.
The disappearing lather trick, huh? I noticed that too.
