RAD RAD RAD RAD
Really lookin good!!!
Life is a lot more exciting in the deep end
The shaves are nicer there, too.
We have hit the deep freeze the last few days, with high temps topping out below zero, wind chills -40 to -50 (F) and the air is just drier than...... (Enter expletive deleted adjective description here). I could balm/lotion/balm again, and my face still feels like an alligator after I shave. I may just grow a beard until the weather breaks. Man am I ready to get the boat out.
Yea it's just way to cold here right now! The wind is just a killer! Sucks cause I work outside allday lol
Been mostly a mild winter here. Not working a whole lot this winter, but normally when I do, I don't shave much. Hang in there, spring is almost here.
This evening was the first time shaving with my new polished Blackbird and all i could say when i was done was WOW!!! what an incredible shave. The angle found me from go, has nice audible feedback and was smooth as silk with zero irritation and a very close 2-pass bbs shave. YES this is now at the top of my "best razors" in my den, had to move the AS-D2 and ikon 102 slant over to make room for this bad boy. i couldn't be happier !!!
One day my fine aftershave collection will look like that! Great stuff it is.
Congratulations Tad! The first polished Blackbird sure is a beauty.
I love the Fine aftershaves .. i can't be without my American Blend !!!
My go to is the fresh vetiver! Once I found it we haven't been apart lol!
Look what I got today..
Stunning. Beautiful. Masterpiece. My youngest son was here when the mail arrived and he was blown away! When I first held the Blackbird I knew I was holding a razor that Shane had put a lot of thought into , a lot of care and wanting to make it right the first time. Tomorrow morning I'll put the Blackland Blackbird through its first test.
Such a nice looking razor I'm sure even better when you see it in person.
Thanks! Yes, pictures never do such craftsmanship justice. It's stunning! The top cap has a life of its own.
Congrats! ... will be watching tomorrow to hear how your first shave went. I'm pretty sure you'll find it passes the test with flying colors.
Thank you! I haven't shaved in what seems like a week, so I've got plenty of whiskers to mow down.
Sure is purdy. Congrats Kerry! Welcome to the Brotherhood.
