    Hi, I have been following this great resource for the past year since i decided to return to DE shaving. Now I'm taking it a step further to using a shavette.

    For a low cost trial, I can't decide between getting a Bluebeards Revenge shavette or Utopia Care Straight Razor shavette.

    Looking forward to learning the opinions on these two entry level shavettes.

    My advise, cut to the chase, and buy a real straight razor.

    Agreed, buy a straight...
    But if you are set on a shavette, buy the Utopia. It's cheaper ($12 on Amazon) and comes with blades. I bought a cheap all "stainless" one for under $4, it holds the blade just fine and is reasonable Quality. I assume those are similar.
