I'm still reading Terry Goodkind's "Soul of the Fire." I didn't get much reading time in last week. My daughter and I did not get to the movies but we did watch several at home. Adam's Family Values (She wants to watch that again), Star Wars Episode I and II. I'll get her hooked on Star Wars yet. The biggest thing that bugs me in Episode I and II is the whole chemistry thing. There is almost no character cohesion. Just a bunch of people interacting, saying a few lines and then moving on. The love interest in Episode II between Anakin Skywalker and Senator Amidala (Padme) is horrible.
I decided to read "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown while I'm at my parents house this week. So far it is an interesting read. More science-fictiony than the DaVinci Code.
I actually liked this one better than the DaVinci Code. YMMV. Currently reading State of Fear by Michael Crichton. Just finished reading the Wayfarer Redemption series by Sara Douglass. It was a very enjoyable read. One of my favorite authors now!!! Right up there with Terry Goodkind.
The Grudge 2..........................HATED IT! but a must see for all horror movie freaks that must see every stupid flick ever (like me). Michael Hamm's book............Should be a required read for all High School students.
Another "Duh" moment in my life. :roflIt didn't click. It sounded like maybe it was some type of coping with life because it's unfair book.
This Weekend I've already been told we're going to see Shrek and Pirates of the Caribean. I know I'll be watching Star Wars: Episode IV at some time. Should be a good movie weekend. Buttered popcorn for all!
