In Glasgow city centre Boots The Chemists have redesigned the bottle of an old favourite, Bay Rum Hair Tonic. The thing is though it has the consistency and smell of an after shave-can't understand this at all.
Interesting, by chance can you post an ingredient list? To whom it may concern: In addition to being widely used as an aftershave, Bay Rum was also used many years ago as a hair tonic. And is still used today, I would imagine, by some people. For example, Pashana still puts out a Bay Rum Hair tonic that can double as an aftershave. --> Bay Oil's purported therapeutic effects on the hair include stimulation of hair growth/(perhaps more as a stop-gap for further loss) in addition to being beneficial to the health of the scalp. Of course, most of us use bay oil for its antiseptic and astringent properties.....and because it smells good :drool
Just received your post, Trader Joe, will list the ingredients next time I am on. I have to say that it definitely has the appearance of an aftershave.
