Boreal manufacures exclusively the boar bristle shaving brushes Boreal is exactly rival to Omega nice ABS plastic also I have sliver and gold one there is a warning that you dont soak in hot water this brush there is serious manufacturing defects the bristle base is loose most stores and supermarkets dont let you to open the box because its their policy if you want to try that be careful of security guards if its solid your lucky bristles is clipped and soft ,backbone is great but wont break in , great for hard and soft soaps water retention is good its made in italy great shaving brush nearly equvalent of omega 48
I'd have a hard time believing that this brush is even in the same universe as an Omega or Semogue if they clip the tips and the brush can't break in. I have one clipped boar and I'll never (knowingly) get another.
Now I know why they're so cheap, they must be using extremely low quality hair that they're having to clip the tips.
