I was sent this recently and told it belonged to my great-grandfather. Dont know much about brushes, can anyone tell me anything about it? I definitely want to keep it but is it worth restoring?

I can't tell what brand it is, but it does look like its painted wood and if there's no cracking anywhere you should be able to sand it and refinish it just fine, if you want.

Sorry. Can't help with any ID.

It's very cool that it was your great-grandfather's. I agree with Aaron; if the handle is solid, shouldn't be a problem to sand, re-knot, and refinish.
