Being fairly new I'm not quit sure how much hair loss with a badger brush is too much ? I know they sometimes shed but 5-6 hairs every shave ? I even tried combing it out and tugging on knot too get loose ones, but as I use it, I'm finding hairs in bowl, on face and in sink. I don't want to sound like a pain to the owner of the company, but if this isn't normal, I may write to him.

Hard to enjoy your shaving experience sliding badger hair around your face. Write to the company or return the brush.

How long has this been going on? Some knots have some "shorts" that come out in the early days of a brush, but if it is shedding like this more than a few days, then it is not normal and you should correspond with the maker.
