I'm thinking it's time to send out my vintage horse hair Ever Ready (bought @ antique shop) for either a synthetic knot or perhaps horse hair.

Is there an average or reasonable price for a restoration like this? Any recommendations on who or where to send it to?

I do not have any recommendation on where to send it, but why not try yourself? I have done a few, including a 200t with very little expense, just some patient work and elbow grease. Very rewarding to have one you put the work into.[IMG][IMG]

Here are a couple that I have done. It is worth trying yourself if you are a little handy.
