My wife's grandfather has been thinking about doing some brush handles on his lathe. Well he finally made his first one and it's for ME! He used a 22mm synthetic knot from maggards since it's the first he had ever set and wanted to use something cheap in case it didn't work out or he messed it up. I would say he did an AWESOME job. I can't wait to get it this weekend! He might have a brush addiction from the way he talks about how much fun he had making this one! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That is a very nice design for a first brush handle. The Maggard knot is a very good synthetic. It should be a great brush. Congratulations for having a wife with a handy grandfather.
