IMG_3349.jpg Inlove the smell of brut but my local store has 3 various styles of it. I think I know which one to get but technically what is the difference in the 3. Thanks!

Splash On: Not as strong as after shave. Can be applied to other parts of the body, like the chest. The lightest way to wear Brut.
After Shave: Just what it says, for after shaving, stronger than Splash On.
Cologne: The longest lasting scent of Brut.

I'm not a fan of brut, but it depends on what your using it for. This what I deduced from a search on the topic ...

    Cologne
A Cologne will generally contain 2%-6% perfume oil, therefore making the fragrance suitably balanced and better tailored for daily use. Originally, eau de cologne was a mixture of citrus oils from such fruits as lemons, oranges, tangerines, limes, and grapefruits These would be combined with such substances as lavender and neroli (orange-flower oil) to formulate a truly original fragrance. It is more friendly on the skin compared to Eau de Toilette, although it still wouldn't be advised applying a spray around your face directly after a shave. Cologne, unlike aftershave also has the ability to resonate throughout the entire day. Barbers recommend targeting sprays to the back of your neck and wrists for the best results.

    Aftershave
Aftershave contains less raw perfume oil (around 1%-3%) than the others, which causes a lesser-lasting scent than that of an Eau de Toilette or Cologne. Many aftershaves do contain soothing and cooling ingredients however, such as Aloe Vera which effectively help soothe the skin.

    In addition ...

    Aftershave Splash
Aftershave splash is an antiseptic that has a lingering scent, while aftershave balm is a hydrating lotion with a mild scent that typically goes away soon after application. Since aftershave splashes are usually alcohol-based astringents, they often tighten and dry out the skin.

    I hope this helps.:D

    Excellent comments.

If you are wearing Brut because you like the smell you will need to reapply about lunch or so and again about 5:00pm because even the cologne fades pretty quickly. For a while sterling made a shave soap called Brutish shat was a pretty good match for the AS. It works well with most soaps.

I'm not a Brut fan but every so often I'll wear it.
