This may have been the longest I waited for a package to arrive but it was sure worth the wait. Is this soap ever awesome! (use a smaller brush because the container is small!) Ease of lathering: 10/10--Explodes into rich lather immediately. Longevity of lather: 10/10--Fantastic. Perfect stability for multi-pass shaves. General skincare: 9/10--Very gentle, comfortable as well as moisturizing. Scent: 8/10--Mild, in fact very mild lavender which becomes more noticeable while lathering and shaving. Nice! Price: 5/10--Had it been any other soap I would have said "no thanks." 22,00$ USD is pretty high, no? Would I buy again: 9/10--Despite such a high price, yes I feel I would because I love this soap. It's not often you hear about anything from Norway other than the Fitjar products, but here is something I would definitely recommend if you want to try something unique and unusual. Brutalt Bra (Brutally Good) soap has a mild, but very pleasant lavender scent, (to my nose) it lathers so easily and richly with a post-shave feeling which is relaxed and very comfortable. I just wish the damned price was lower and that the tin was bigger!
I have seen this online before and have heard great things about it, although it is underrated and doesn't get seen much around here. Glad you like it!
Whew, glad this was a good soap for you, Jeff. I saw "Brutalt Bra" and thought you were reviewing an ancient Teutonic support device.
I want to see a Norway-Sweden shave-off with Sweden putting up their Gron lycka shaving soap (that I believe @Omelmad is on the pre-order list for now....)
I am not just shocked and amazed. But, I'm also appalled and scandalized. I may need months of intensive psychotherapy just to be able to shave again.
