I love Butterscotch and probably my favorites are some old MadeRites. I also have a nice older Simpson and a Rooney and a Peerless, a modern Whipped Dog and an EverReady. The MadeRite Butterscotch brushes. Note the last two are the same model but since they were hand turned at the time are subtly different.
Very nice ! I see I haven't posted mine (well except those in the case) here's a Chubby 2 with original knot : This hive/tulip simpson, reknotted in two-band silvertip : and this Paladin :
Just picked this little guy up. Need to polish and throw new knot into it but I'm happy I found it! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
I been collecting butterscotch brushes for well over 10 years. Most found in the wild. Here is some of my vintage Simpson brushes in by collection. A few in rotation and rest are cabinet queens
Not to be out-shamed by Keith, I have to say it is a fave low cost dessert of mine. I forgot to say, what cool brushes!
I forgot about this thread. Besides the ones I sold, I have this Simpson BAC3 that I got the handle from @Enrico and installed a two band badger knot.
LIKE. LIKE. LIKE... I would be more inclined to call the top two caramel. But just like butterscotch, they are all SWEET!!! (and if you find you really don't have a need for that "caramel" one at the 11:00 position, I'd be glad to take it off your hands ) (and send a napkin along with it, please )
Thank you ...... I have at least 15 more to restore prior to posting. Five or six years ago I started with one ......
