Description: The recipe calls for 3/4 lb of bacon so you get to sample the other 1/4 as you cook it. Ingredients: 1 lb. ground beef 3/4 lb. bacon 1 C chopped onion 2 Cans pork & beans 1 Can kidney beans 1 Can butter beans 1 C ketchup 1/4 C brown sugar 1 T liquid smoke 3 T white vinegar salt/pepper Preparation: Brown the ground beef. Cut the bacon into small pieces and cook. Drain the kidney beans and butter beans. Instructions: Dump all into crock pot and cook for a few hours.
