For those who didn't notice, I wasn't around last week for good reason. Seems that what I thought was a large cyst on my back turned out to be a huge abscess that required admit to the hospital and 4 surgeries within 10 days to clean the darn thing out. Plus a ton of antibiotics administered almost 24 hours a day for several days. The surgeon is satisfied that the infection is cleared out of my body but I still have to have daily antibiotic injections for the next 4 to 6 weeks with careful monitoring. What a mess! And I feel pretty puny right now cuz, at my age, recovery is slower. But getting better every day. Life can deal you a punch in the face sometimes.
Prayers for a complete healing, and thankful for your good medical care. Years ago, I had a similar experience. It takes awhile to bounce back.
Whoa, Dude. Sorry about that. Glad to have you back and getting better. I can identify with "at my age, recovery is slower."
