Has anyone used Cape Cod metal polishing cloths to clean & polish their razors? Any comments on how it compares to Maas? Anything else, besides Scrubbing Bubbles you use to remove some tarnish & water spots?

Glad someone else is wondering this too...I've been looking for Maas and can't find it in my neck of the woods, but damned if Cape Cod isn't on every shelf. Hope someone who's used it can shed some light.

I would also be interested, as in UK MAAS is hard to come by, but others are more available

Well I got some Maas and also some of these Cape Cod metal cleaning cloths. Each type of metal cleaner worked well. The Cape Cod cloths are easier to use since they are impregnated with the cleaner and can be reused multiple times. They take off considerable amounts of tarnish and leave a very nice shine.

But for hard to reach areas where you might want to use a qtip or brush to apply cleaner/polish, then Maas is much easier to use. It actually removed more polish than I was able to get off using the Cape Cod cloths alone.

So bottom line... whichever is available use it. Seems that neither will scratch or mar the metal and each provides a great cleaning and polishing for metal razors.
