Guys, I ususally shave with my Straight Razor, but being a pilota traveling a lot, I find more useful when away to use a DE. I rotate a Blackbird and an Envoy both in steel. When I saw this one I could not resist, I have not add to the serie a Carbon Shaving in Copper, web plate ++. Amazing!
Nice razor -- that's a brand I hadn't heard of. Surpised to see it's made in U.S. -- because I thought I had heard of all U.S. made razors. Steep prices though -- and configurable -- which to me means confusing to research. Let us know how it shaves. I just astounded how many small razor makers there are -- perhaps the market is bigger than we (or P&G) think.
After the first two shaves, I usually use Straight Razor at hole and DE when traveling, I am a Pilot, it is a nice shave, probably it deserve some more tests, the manufactures suggest to use the Facet or the Kai to maximize the result with this plate. I will keep trying. Copper is amazing, it is literally a jewel.
i think it is.but P & G don't care.a recent interview with their archivist stated they always have to move forward, anything from the past is a failure in their mind and to improve upon.their DE line is a sharpen beard edges..
That sounds like typical 21st century babble from the 12-year-old kid who's running Gillette -- this week. And -- they haven't improved upon their old razors with their new junk. Why do they still make umpteen varieties of DE blades using the same design from 100 years ago then, if it was a failure? (yea, I know, because many countries still use DE....) These are rhetorical questions, btw. Most of us here, I assume, grew up with carts, and moved to DE/SE, etc. for the improvement. Take that, Gillette.
