My most recent oder of samples came in last night and the first one I tried from it was Cella. Now, most descriptions I've read about it say it smells of deep almonds and some that reference a vanilla scent, but all I can smell is Dr. Pepper. Is my nose weird or do others smell it too?
Unless you're nose is picking up the vanilla/cherry(almond) aspects of 'Dr. Pepper'—which is a proprietary blend that probably does have 'almond' or 'cherry' as one of the flavorings. People have also claimed Cella smells like cherries—but this is only due to the almond extract being the source for the 'cherry' scent and flavor most are familiar with in cherry-flavored or cherry-scented items. To my nose, Cella reminds me of marzipan....sweetened almond paste.
That is what the scent is based on. Dead on. So is RazoRock Classic among others. It is a traditional "Italian Shave Soap Scent".
Dang it that's it!!! I just bought a sample puck of the Almond soap from Stirling and couldn't place the scent. I just opened a Dr Pepper and BINGO! Ooooh that's a bingo! Is that how you say it? It's a bingo?
love the cherry/almond aroma. a little like dr pepper, more like a cherry coke. as a side note, razorrock p160 is very similar.
Cella smells like marzipan which makes me think of this. The real reason I moved to Denmark...the cakes. So Cella is great but it makes me hungry
Cella has a artificial Almond type scent to me. I wish I could pick up on the Dr. Pepper lol. it would make it a more enjoyable scent to me.
Almonds all the way...performance is good but I have found better performers with a similar fragrance
