Does anyone know how the color in the middle of the bolsters was put there. It looked like dye to me but when I was sanding the scales on the CMON special all of the color in the bolster and diamond was sanded off. I really want to get it back to as close to looking original as possible.

Pics would be nice. That being said, I have put the color back in many FW Engels razors that had the same issue. But, when sanding around bolsters, I always tape the bolsters first. So, clean the bolster with soapy water, and toothbrush, rinse, and let dry. Then get the matching colored extra fine Sharpie marker, and fill it in. Works great. Sometimes it might need to be touched up.

Thanks. I'll do that. I'll get pics up as soon as I can.
