It is Chromed on the handle, and the end cap is plastic. But the Doors look to be stainless steel. A magnet does not stick to any part. I will try it shortly. Looks to be sturdy, and adjusts easily, with good lockup.

I got one off eBay, but the box it came in was branded "Yintal". The razor looks the same as yours though.

I haven't used it more than twice. Still have to dial in on the settings. 3 is more mild than I like.

I gave it a go, this morning. I usually set the Gillette Fatboy on 5, so I did the same with the Chinese version.
My first impressions were that it was very smooth, and very noisy. Upon inspection after the first pass, it was evident the razor was shaving very mild. So, I bumped it up to level 7. That did the trick.
Looking at the way the blade sits, it looks like the Chinese version sits farther back, into the razor head, and looks to be more free floating, which could explain the noise.
Over all, it seems well constructed, and gives a very good shave, with the Chinese Iguetta Platinum razor blade. The blade has 5 shaves on it now.
