Just received my order today from Ron (VERY fast shipping) I ordered a tub of Cedar & Spice and a tub of Ghost Town Barber. The first thing i noticed was the generous size tub which will make it nice to load my brush up. The next thing i noticed was the incredible scent of both of these .. when i first opened the Cedar & Spice i said to myself " WOW this smells amazing " Now i can't wait till tomorrow mornings shave to try it out .. i'm sure i am going to love it and i'll post a review later ... any Chiseled Face fans out there?
Still working on my sample of Chiseled Face Cryogen and love it. I have a feeling the rest should be just as good.
Chiseled Face Sherlock is my favorite scent of the soaps I've tried. I'm beginning to think the Chiseled Face soap scents must in general be superlative. I find performance to be very, very good only falling down a little bit in post shave when compared to soaps like Tabac and Mitchell's Wool Fat. Sherlock is a scent I'll likely buy again should I ever run out and I do intend on trying some other Chiseled Face scents based upon my experience with it.
I too enjoy the scents offered. Now I haven't tried all. I will state that Cinnawood Boroka is my fav of the aftershaves. Very refined. Great stuff!
I only have the Tradewinds scent in their soap and like it. The Ghost Town Barber and Summer Storm scents of their aftershave are in the den as well.
I've got Sherlock, Cedar & Spice and Ghostown Barber and the scents on all of them are very nice. Performance is top notch as well.
Will report tomorrow (woke up late this morning and skipped my shave) ..... but tomorrow morning i'm hitting up the Cedar & Spice
Chisiled Face is a great company. The Sherlock is one of my favorites. GtB and cedar & spice are both great scents and the performance of their soap is top notch. Enjoy!
I have Sherlock thanks to @theFAT98 and love it! I bought the aftershave and its some of the best I've used.
Well i got to try the Chiseled Face Cedar & Spice this morning .. Loaded my Maggard synthetic for about 30-45 seconds and moved to my pottery bowl and began whipping up some luxurious lather by slowly adding a few drops of water. I soon had enough lather for probably 3-4 two pass shaves. This soap is wonderful with lots of cusion and slickness and i was really loving the scent .. lots of cedar/spice/smoky hints and a few hours after my shave i'm still catching whiffs of it. It also left my face feeling great post shave ... my first shave with the Chiseled Face and i have nothing but positive feedback, i'd highly recommend you give it a try
I have another tub of the Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber ... it smells wonderful as well and i'm sure the performance is just as fabulous !
I love Chiseled Face soaps. The scents have a lot of depth, and the lather is pretty amazing. It is definitely in my top three.
I have there trade winds and cryogen ........the trade winds scent is just not for me. I love the cryogen though love me some menthol.
I've got Sherlock and it's a really nice scent and a solid performer. Not many of his other scents sound that appealing to me, though.
I'm in the same camp...only tried trade winds but didn't care for the scent. I wouldn't mind trying another scent from this brand.
I have had the Ghost Town Barber and AS from a while now. Both are excellent. The AS may be the best I have used from a perfomance perspective! I also have the Sherlock AS. Love it too! I used GTB this morning.
All of Ron's products are amazing. Sherlock is my day to day after shave except for when I will be around wife, then it's Summer Storm that she likes. Sad part is, my skin doesn't agree with his soap. I don't know if it's the fragrance oils or what, but, most all of them cause me minor skin irritation and that makes me sad
