I had to buy a 16ft folding ladder just for this the 2nd year. The first year, we had very few decorations but no large ladder. I had to get on the roof and lean over the side. Scary but not anywhere near as scary when I had to take them down and the roof was frosted. I froze my a** off and I came within inches of sliding right off the roof. "Told" my wife I didn't want to do it that day but somebody wasn't listening. "Just be careful, honey." :rofl
I like that display, Rich! I would like to put up some outside lights at our house, but I have no outdoor outlets. I think I am gonna look into installing one in the eaves so that I have at least one outlet outside.
I'm tempted to have separate circuits added to the box. The house has outside plugs. They are just added to existing front of the house circuits. I tripped the garage and the porch circuits year two. I now have the heavy load running to the back of the house where there is a jacuzzi circuit. Much better. (Note: The prior owners took the jacuzzi. They wanted $4K for it.)
Wow, now that's some fancy lighting there :: :drool We don't decorate our house with lights and all, keeps the electricity-bill down
The only thing more exciting than those lights would be watching that disc spin around at the meter for the electricity. Wait... palpations don't necessarily mean your excited, do they... Sure is a spiffy job.
