Today's Christmas Tree Day at the Palmer house.

It was a little warm, but we always have lots of fun getting the tree and decorating it.

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas all.
    Ho ho ho.

Depending on how Becky is feeling, ours will go up Friday, after Thanksgiving.

That’s when we normally do ours, but we are all off Wednesday and my daughter is feeling extra Christmasy this year. She asked to do it Wednesday and I agreed…

Are these fake tree's?. It's a little early to be getting a live tree. I alway's waited until the middle of December when I had live tree's.

We go out the weekend following Thanksgiving and ensure it stays well watered. Enjoy your trees, all.

Nah. It's a live tree. Keep it watered and it will last a long time.

Add sugar to the water, it'll help to keep it alive. Tree's dry out quick once cut even if you keep them watered, no root system to feed it. I've seen two homes burn due to dried out Christmas trees that had been in the home for a month.
