Pick this up on eBay for about $10 I liked the scales but when I got it in the scales were worthless... My first restore in progress.
Are the bolsters shot as well? What are your plans for the new scales? What is the make of the blade? Most importantly, have fun!
Bolsters are good . It says Clauss Fremont.O 4702. I orders some material for scales but sadly they aren't long enough.... Fun indeed
I had a couple of Clauss razors —good shavers! Yours—as with most Clauss straights one finds out there—fall somewhere in the 1887-1940 era.
