If you find the scent doesn't agree with you, PIF it, or drop it off at a local Old Folks home.

 

The GF likes the scent. I am about out and will buy another. I like the leather scent. It almost smells like Aramis, another fave of mine.

Hold ya horse @Paul Turner I've just ordered it yesterday so I won't be able to get it until either Wednesday or Thursday.

 

oh ok....I know that feeling-as I've yet to try the TSD soap/AS w/Russian Leather, after having it for over a week now. I hope to get it going this week.

 

I don't like it straight from the bottle, but I really like it after dry down. Put it on in the morning and you can still smell it in the evening.

 

If it's too strong, you can always dump out about 1.1oz and add .10z of glycerin and 10z of witch hazel. That's exactly what I did and it's perfect now.

 

Well... I hate it. Smells like an ashtray or something. Very synthetic.

 

Smells like sour pickles to me and i hated it. It was a shock to me as vanilla, original and musk are so good! But that reserve was foul and even my daughters commented on the sour pickle smell...

 

Was it a new bottle, as far as you know? I've had it before, sour is one thing I never got out of it.

 

The bottle was new and sealed from amazon. I can only find the original in brick ans mortar stores. Maybe its just too strong for me? When i go for clubman the powdery smell is expected and maybe thats why I am turned off? Than my 11 year ols said i smelled like pickles . Haha

 

Perhaps that's why Special Reserve was made-to cut back on the powdery smell.

 

All you need now is a corned beef sandwich.

 

Tried it. I wouldn't say I hated it but it just didn't work for me. As for staying power wow! All day if I remember correctly.

 

Some friends of mine are wondering if Neal @NCoxSTL received his Clubman S.R.
Opinions? If you liked it, does SWMBO approve?

 

Update-actually received one from a PIF....I've used it before-really like it.
