Yes I DID!!! Even as I was hitting the checkout button, I couldn't believe I was doing it...lol. And on the same day that I received my first straight razor back from Whipped Dog (not that I've worked up the courage to try it yet).
I missed out. Put one in my cart, went on the great evening wallet hunt looking for my credit card - came back and it was sold out again.
That is the last item on the list for trying out in 2014. Has anyone heard anything about the Cobra 2 being released?
That's great! I was out at dinner with my wife and I was annoying her because I was trying to buy one on my phone before they sold out. LOL!! We'll have to compare notes.
Only that it's supposed to be "later this year". There is talk that there may be another Classic Cobra release before the Cobra 2 is released.
I read that the 2.0 won't change the shaving experience but focus on improving quality consistency and build quality. Both sounds like worthy causes. It's a razor I'm really interested in trying out.

I sent an email to them some time ago and their reply, as far as new stock goes was; "We are hoping to get inventory back in stock... but we've been hoping since March 2014. Our manufacturer apparently continues to have plating issues. We'll be sending out a newsletter when we receive them back in stock. Please be sure to sign up on the product page to be alerted when the product is back in stock." I do hope they don't go the way of Tradere and the DoDo bird. Clarification: The DoDo bird was not a razor - just a poor, extinct bird.
