A man in my church who is 90 years old was talking with me about this and that when shaving came up. He now uses Trac II but spoke of using a straight when he was young, and of being issued some kind of DE while in the USMC in WWII (he's pretty sure it was Gillette and said he had the choice of an injector but turned it down). He'd also used Gem SE at some point.

Anyway, we start talking about carts. He said the best he ever used was one he couldn't remember the name of, but knew it was made in England and had a single blade.

Wilkinson Sword Bonded, I asked? Late '60s or thereabouts?

That's the one, he said, and I agreed it was the best cart I've ever used too.
